My Love of Labradorite

While there are many beautiful gemstones such as Amethyst, Tigereye, Turquoise, Rose Quartz, and Citrine, Labradorite stands out for its unparalleled color quality. Regardless of its shape or size, this gemstone always radiates its unique color, earning it the nickname of my chameleon gemstone.

Labradorite is a stone with a gray hue that displays a stunning blue iridescence due to its composition of feldspar minerals. Its color can range from light gray to blue-gray, dark gray, and sometimes even green, all occurring naturally.

In my jewelry design, I have two pieces, with the one shown in the photo being one of them. Labradorite pairs beautifully with silver-toned metal, although I must admit that gold-toned metal also complements it well. I hope to include more designs featuring this exquisite gemstone in my collection in the future.

The name Labradorite originates from Labrador, a region in Northeast Canada, where the crystal was initially found in the 1770s. Presently, the majority of Labradorite is sourced from Canada, the northern United States, and certain areas in Europe.

In addition to its distinctive beauty, Labradorite is a well-liked spiritual gemstone believed to symbolize change and fresh starts. Many gemstone specialists claim that Labradorite possesses empowering and motivating properties that can assist in managing life changes like graduation, relocation, or embarking on a new career.

After having the chance to explore Labradorite, I hope you can appreciate it as deeply as I do.
